Wordpress Create a tab to outside page

In this episode we'll talk about adding the "tabs" or "pages" (see mine across the top band there?) that point or redirect to a page outside of your blog.

Examples would be: A link to your online store, a link to your capture page, or a link to your company presentation.



Steps
1. Get the URL you want to send folks to.
2. Go to a link generator.
3. Put in the Name of the page: I used My Capture Page and the URL you want the page to redirect to (from step 1)
4. Grab the code that the generator gives you.
5. Take that code back to your Wordpress dashboard - Go to Pages - New and past the code into the TITLE space
6. Shorten the code a bit.... you don't need the target="new"
7. Before you publish, choose the order you want this tab in.
8 Publish.
