Yep, PLR is a shortcut but you gotta watch for the crap products from the good ones.

I know of a couple of sites that produce reasonably good articles and now also have services for syndication.

If you want to create a product fast in 24 hours, using PLR is a great strategy. BUT as commented by Wilyeo, it is important to read through the PLR and make sure that it has solid content, is easily editable and that you could repackage it to create an informative new product or themed package.
