  • Actually, the pagan-christianity theory falls apart once you start adding information.

  • what theory - I am talking about looking at historical facts about the evolution of the Christian religion...

  • the christian pagan theory as in christianity's stem from paganism, which I think is completely false.

  • oh - yes - I agree with you there - I am speaking of the influences that came into the church as it progressed - Jesus Christ is completely true without 'borrowing' from pagans - but other aspects that are brought out in the book PaganChristianity are completely different.

  • I am reading the book and it is transforming my life as I read.

  • Pagan is not Christianity me Pagan.

  • @Optimusprimemc Oh! really why than Does Paul quote Plato in 1 cor.. and in Acts.

You can try to rationalize all you want, but it doesnt change the facts. The tree is a pagan god and has no place in Christianity, nor should Jesus need to share his b-day with it.

The lord your God is a jealous God." The same God who was furious when Moses came down from the mountain and saw them with the golden calf.

If you want to celebrate Jesus birth then I suggest you drop the pagan traditions.

It's undeniable, I sowed it to you in scripture from Jeremiah.

  • But do we recognize any pagan gods or traditions? Did it ever occur to the normal person that maybe we just want to celebrate Jesus.
