  • Actually a Chai Latte is made with about 2 fingers of hot water and the rest steamed milk. You said Starbucks makes it with water, Which implies water only, however great video and seriously how long does it take to make an order and say, "No water please?" Not to rain on your parade I was just asking. Yes I work for Starbucks. Again your video was most instructive, thanks. Ghost!

  • @ghostspirit52 Thanks for the response! I didn't mean to imply that Starbucks only used water in their chai lattes. You are correct, it only takes a second to tell them I would like a no water chai. At one time a couple of years ago the chai lattes tasted hearty and one day I got one and it was very hot and watery. I forgot to mention no water several times after then and found they weren't the same as they once were. I just prefer mine more hearty and milky than watery. Thanks Ghost! :)

  • Thanks for the video. Be careful with the Coolwhip, as it has hydrogenated oils in there that are extremely harmful. The aresol cans of coolwhip, etc. do not and are perfectly safe to use when you don't have time to make your own from scratch. Thanks again!

  • @MiltonCarl Thanks for the comment! I make homemade whipped cream at home! Nothing compares to it! :)

  • You should be able to find the liquid Tazo or Oregon Chai Tea Concentrate at your local grocery store.

  • Also, you can look into Aerolattes. It is a handheld milk frother and you can get them at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $20. Using thr frother, you can make your milk nice and frothy just like Starbucks. I get a lot of use out of mine! Something to consider...

  • Thank you! This really helped... I had to do some more research online because I only have the tea bags and not the concentrated chai... I guess it's the same thing? Anyway, thank you so much for actually taking the time to make this video! It definitely helped.

  • cool video mabye I'll try this one day. Drinking my last bag of tazo berrybloosm white tea. Supposably they don't make this tea anymore.

  • I know....love that concentrate. Funny enough I looked up how to make your own concentrate at home today, I found some recipes online. Your right, it pays for itself with the first cup! Which brand did you buy?

  • Just tried this out and it is great! My hubbie will appreciate me not running out to Starbucks. The concentrate paid for itself the first time I used it! Thanks for posting this!!!
