@Projoiner1 Thank you. Yes, are they helpful, but also are they true? Not only can beliefs stifle imagination, they can ensnare us in an illusion, and I'm not speaking in purely spiritual terms here, or indeed in any specifics. It can be easy to fail to see our own beliefs, yet they can still trip us up or prevent os from learning and growing.

Good video, and I thought articulated well.
(Saw that doco with the man who flew over Londan, was very incredible)
Really, what it all comes down to for me, is do your beliefs help you move forward, or do they hold you back.
Sometimes those strongly held beliefs can really stifle imagination, and it takes practice to let yourself think outside of the box.
Have to learn to listen and hear before you can learn.
Thanks for sharing

@0Salome0 :: Thx,!..using imagination to discover more, cose don't knowing something...can lead to belief or not... This belief is formed by ones individual instincts and intuition ....Believing something for a very good reason, if there is..then i go on my belief like on my knowledge, in my experience when i did that, its not rarely that i know later on, what i have believed quite a time before,....was mostly right....... Religion, its difficult, i agree, i would say i don't know either ;)

@lapispinoza Oh, Elekhos said on my last video that he would rather see my face than pretty patterns, so there it is, my face. It may be gone again in a flash....:P
Ok , I'm not getting these videos. have to dump more channels again to get the new ones.
I agree with your view , i dont want to force any of my ideas on anyone. it's my world and you can't have it ,my blanky :op
I never did talked about my beliefs before yt to me i never cared what people have faith in. working with high energy and study Buddhism has made many weird connections in my life. I have stripped out most of Buddhism to the cord in many ways and think i'm just rewriting my book

Aren't all religions security blankets? We will only find truth if there is life after death, so I wonder why we should search for any kind of truth in this lifetime...
I think I'm back on track.

@phekwig It depends what you might use them for. If all they are is death insurance then yes they are security blankets. If they are used in the search for the realities and truth of life then no they are not.
I think you probably are....
