Hahaha, okay, with these comments about the length of my arms, I finally had my buddy measure me. The length across me measured from the tips of the longest fingers of each outstretched arm is exactly equivalent to my height. I seem to recall that this is "the norm." The illusion may be created by the style of the dance or just something related to optical depth. ;o)

@PrinzAndrew hmm, i think it has/had more to do with the design of your costume. it made your legs look less long. if that makes any sense. :D there looks to be about 2"-4" of tight ankle cloth then the ballooning of the harem pants. if there were a bit less ballooning and say a 1" band at the ankle, your legs would look longer. but that's just my take on it. your a fabulous dancer!
