Update on my Couragous, Wonderful, Mum..

My mum has been fighting Osteomyelitis for the last 4yrs after a 'routine' knee replacement..and has been operated on numerous times. Her leg bones have been fused together so she is without a knee and unable to bend her leg..it is aprx 3inches shorter than the other leg..
She also has a kind of allergy to metal which has caused so many problems in the treatment of her leg and the mending of the bones..Not to mention the amount of pain she has been through post op..and with an allergy to morphine this has been horrendous! Her courage throughout is commendable!

So here she is, finally discharged frm the care of her oestopath and able to fly home to retire with my dad..

Bless you mum..I am so proud of your courage and determination plus your amazing sense of humour that you displayed through every challenge thrown at you..

Thank you dad for being her support, nurse and encouragemet, best friend and her constant,.

I love you both so much :)

Oh really, well I hope you dont get it sweetheart...it's not pretty! mind you, if my mum has it maybe I will get it too when I am older :( bloomin hope I am wrong.

I hope she settles in without a hitch back home, bonbons tail is going to go into overdrive! She must have missed her pets so much. No place like home eh babes :)
