She was dealing with injuries at the Olympics. She is a World Champ and will prove it again at the 2011 Worlds and 2012 Olympics

Is it true that Clarissa Chun did Judo before she started wrestling? If yes what belt was she?

@71brett Why downplay her achievement? So she lost to the silver and bronze medalist, even all-time greats have experienced adversity(Cael's troubles on the international scene come to mind)and she might come back in 2012 and take the gold.We don't know her full potential, but what we do know is shes a World Champion.Leave it a that.

Clarissa is a really good wrestler, but think this needs to be put in perspective as a lot of wrestlers didn't compete in this competition because it was too soon after the olympics. To get a better picture of how good Clarissa is we should look at how she did in the olympics. She lost in the semis to the eventual silver medalist and then she was pinned in the bronze match. She's good but hardly the best in the world.
