Did anyone notice they are both wearing the same scarf?
lol...
I'm trying to learn how to knit in the continental knitting.
Sigh....

is that dog alive?
she can read AND knit?!
i wanted more close-ups...
i think everyone should learn continental knitting. it really helps to knit faster. it's easy, you just need practice. i still don't purl in continental, just knit (so i find a lot of projects that are stockinette in the round!)

I've watched this like 4 times tonight... trying so hard to figure this out.

she knit faster but she also have to show us how she purl and is her speed the same when she purl. teach us how to purl faster in the continental style
-
Can you get a close up shot of this in slow-action? Either shown slowly (but smooth) or a higher frame-rate camera of it in full speed. That would really help me try and see what's happening. I'm still getting used to continental, but would like to start out using the most efficient method. Thanks!

what about a speed purl? That is where time is lost. Is there a speedy purl or rib method?
-
Too bad you didn't film them from behind so we could see what she was doing better...
-
If she doesn't slow down, she is gonna knit up a pomeranian into her work. Woof!
This makes me want to learn continental.....maybe, :)

Wow, every comment is from last year...I still like knitting

is there any speed purling techniques? I have been trying to find a purl method that is as fast as my picking method. When I am ribbing, is when I could really find a fast technique for purling.

I don't think she's knitting in Continental style. It looks like Eastern European style. That's faster than Continental by far. Eastern European is the method I use.

i knit like she does, and it makes me knit soooo fast, i love it too, its almost like knitting water that keeps moving, i know that weird, but i love it.
Amazing!! Long time knitter and not anywhere close to her speed. What about knitter's who are not using the continental style?

Miriam's advice was to keep your finger movements as small as possible and to relax your hands - other than that, just practice, practice, practice!
