I played this in high school (1st trumpet). From a technical standpoint, this song isn't that bad. Musically however, this is a VERY challenging piece of music. Our woodwinds worked on the section from 2:33 to 3:09 for weeks. With the 1st clarinets having all those notes way above the register, and all of the chord stacking, it made playing that section IN TUNE very difficult. We pulled it off somehow though and sounded great.

The Aggies finally learned something else besides the "Aggie War Hymn," congratulations and well done.
But, The University of Texas still does it better...
Trumpets need slight tuning during the start hymn. At least they corrected it as they went on. Great performance, poor recording.

Yeah my camera sucks at recording. This recording didn't do justice to them. They had a phenomenal performance at Carnegie hall in February. People are still talking about it. :)
