MegaChurch Needs MegaMoney

Just because the title says mega churches, we don't think only these mega churches are at fault. There are many less well known churches that wish they were mega, who have the same bad spirit over them.

In short money should be spent first on spreading the gospel. Gospel for Asia or GFA is wise investment or model for how to do that. You don't need a building to preach or teach Jesus didn't & neither did the apostles. It's helpful when available but not necessary. Second money should be used to meet the needs (food, clothes, shelter) of believers then everyone else who is poor. End of story.

Start at 4:35 what facilities & staff where is that in the Bible?
I'm not a math wiz but if you take Mars Hill budget of 3 million at best they're giving about 10% to charities they have 200,000 for micromission plus 47,000 for campus fund which might indirectly go to helping the poor, & 120,000 for the global fund which church planting so pastor salary & facilites but some of that goes to free bibles. Say a portion of that global might go to helping the poor, but most likely not because the church planters get paid, & other cost. For this we'll give the benefit of the doubt that all possible funds 200k the 120k put us at 320 + 47k 367k out of 3 million budget at best they giving 12.23% to the poor, say you take away the generous allowance of the 120,000 for the global fund which I think is more realistic & you have Mars Hill giving 8.23 percent of there donations going to the poor. Does this seem right less then 13% of donations going to the poor, where in the New Testament do you have things other then poor to give your money to, well at mars Hill they found that 87% at best more likey 92 % of the time of there money should go to things that aren't the poor, don't pay your pastor take care of the poor.
If you care to watch the rest of the video because you think I'm lying how could driscoll do any bad, the last thing he says money will go to is the poor, your local food bank, singles moms, so first he & the buildings get paid, the last thing is the poor fittingly it's called micromissions, meaning it's only a micro mission for Mars Hill notice the train you tell us we'll release the money, why shouldn't you just not give money to Mark & mars hill & instead give it to the poor, don't pay the middle man who takes the majority of the cut for buildings & staff. Imagine how many more people would actually benefit if there was no facacilty & staff to pay


Question for Mark: What do you think is better; giving money to buildings or to the poor, mark driscoll?

The money would be best spent on giving me money for me & getting more, buildings where there are big screen tv's so people can come in & see me on a big screen tv, & then they'll fork over more money to me to replicate the process. What are you? some kind of wuss?, who doesn't know how to extort money from people?"
We read in 1Timothy 6:5 a mark of a false teacher is the desire to look holy say godly things as a means to get wealthy or just a gains slash prophet who does that sound like?

@SuperWildbill777 it's not an either or but a both. Jesus said many who said to hm Lord, Lord he'd say away with you I never know you. John & others wrote about how false teachers had sneaked in already in the "christian community" so I think there is presidence for saying not everyone who says Jesus Jesus with their mouth knows him in their heart. Sure Muslims, atheist etc deny christ & so are anti christ, we've covered that a ton in prior videos.

Well my friends. All good intention,however many starving people teir are in the world. One person was correct! The money sent to those starving countries funnel that money generally to other despotic means. We are far to into the end of events! It is time to really hit the streets and instill into people who starve for not food, but the word of God! Those who have the key of david , the truth, or olive oil! @utubernaut Most of what you wrote I agree with, except I wouldn't put it as an either or, but a both. Feed with both natural and spiritual food. Sure most charitable funds go to corrupt people, but I think the numbers of starving people is a good way to illustrate to the lost how bad the world is. Jesus said you'd always have the poor.
