one of very, very few videos i've seen so far in this competition that displays:
-creativity
-hard work
-visuals that follow the music closely
not the best video ever and it does get old after a while, but definitely refreshing after seeing 50000 slide shows and political commentary videos.

I like this song very much. Although I didn't notice how many videos are being made for Ghosts IV. Good! Liked your video.

Really good, Andrew! I can't get the song out of my head, you did a great job! The video get's a little boring, but you variated around to minutes, and then the middle, and so on. Really good!
I just have one tiny question: Can I download the MP3 somewhere? The song is addictive!
Really good video, may I ask what you used to produce it? I've been dabbling with Processing and it seems to be similar.
Anyway, yeah it's a good video because it doesn't fall into the trap of regurgitating the usual NIN industrial imagery and shows creativity without being over the top.

Thanks for the kind words :)
I used After Effects - a Motion Graphics and 2D Animation program.

The simplicity of this concept expresses NIN's music and all that technology behind it in such a fantastic way! Hypnotic! Well done.

Thanks! I think the blue visualization at the end is especially hypnotic - I should have included subliminal messages :)

this is reminiscent of a player piano where holes in the paper play the notes. i think they should like this. it might be interesting to see some video integrated into it, but not to disrupt the simplicity. its very elegant and synchronous. nice work!

I hadn't thought of the player piano analogy, but it really does look like that :) I wanted to show how the amplitude and equalizer visualizations interact, and this is much like a player piano.
I played around with adding other visuals, especially at 4 and 5 minutes into the song, but it wasn't working. It was a challenge to try to keep it fresh for 6 minutes.
