Oh, and I am a member of a major party (Democrat). I admit that I will likely vote for people I do not innately trust or believe, at least a\t some level, but in the end they are still somewhat accountable for their actions and I am not the one who has to live a lie, the politician is.

So, I feel like there is something innately lemming-like in putting up politician's signs across America. It would be so much nicer if politics was more grassroots. Unfortunately, both major parties are big machines. Never trust a politician!
