I believe 3.50 is the best time you can get on this level. At least, its the best time i've ever gotten.
EDIT: I've gotten 3.45 once.

Nice! I am not quite sure what the best possible time is, I'll have to run many tests to see.

@SSBMstuff If someone could spin the right analog stick so fast it started the super hoop instantly, they could probably get a better time. That's the only way I see it possible to get a better time.

I definitely agree - I meant I would have to run many tests of hooping to the first chip and seeing if it ever stops at 3.4X.

Hm, just tried boost jump-to-thrusting the net at the first chip, and it doesn't really work. Also tried using the RC car in the start but that can't outdo the Hoop's speed. The way I see it, this level is all about maximizing that first Super hoop to chip 1. So far I've gotten a lot of 3.6X, a few 3.5X, two 3.52 runs, and 3.50 once. I believe 3.50 is the best possible time so I might upload a "[WR tie]" video later when I get to City Park... but for now I might keep trying for a 3.4X

@SSBMstuff I was thinking about, for actually finishing the level regularly, not ontime trial, about boost jumping off the cage to where the black pants monkey is outside. i wonder if that's possible. The boost jump opens up a lot of possibilities.
