  • DO YOU MIND IF I ASK WHAT CLAY? I USE A STANDARD CLAY 112 WHICH IS CLOSE BUT A LITTLE DARKER. JOHN

  • @potteryworks The leather look wares are Laguna SB Red, the cloaked figures are Laguna Redstone. The Redstone is a bit darker and has more white grog.

  • ALLLLLLSOME!!! DO YOU USE TERRA COTTA?

  • @potteryworks Thank you! No I don't currently use terra cotta. These pieces are all stoneware fired ox^5.

  • BIG fan!! love the leather look, keep up the great work :)

  • Thanks Josh, much appreciated!

  • Thank you Mark - what a gift it is to me to be an inspiration and... your enthusiasm is infectious! I used to teach seniors and a few kids classes as well. I never tired of the excitement and joy that working in clay brings to people!

AWESOME... I am a big fan of your work and these new pieces are all the more reason why. The 'leather" look is real and believable. The colors of the first pieces... very well done. Keep posting your work ,it is inspiring to me, a new potter.

  • Thanks Steve! I had been thinking about doing a boot. Maybe I'll have to work on that one! ... who knows, the chaps may follow. Sharon

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Sharon
