Have you ever thought about getting an ar-15 with a 20" barrel? I'm asking because I've read that the 5.56 has better ballistics with a longer barrel because it increases muzzle velocity and has a tendency to fragment and tumble more often than it does with a 16" barrel.

@cj89311 I have an Armalite 20" HBar. Excellent rifle. Ballistics are improved over the 16" but it's heavier. I like all my AR's : ) Thanks

In wrol or zombie apocolypse if people saw a bunch of rednecks with ar 15's riding up in a heavy duty off road vehicle like that they'd probably piss in there pants & be scared! Now I'm Mexican-American & I watch nutn,sootch,hickok,etc. & if I saw that I'd smile & think awesome more man power, ammo, & tactical team member additions! But most importantly more friends. @iFuerzaXI @iFuerzaXI I served in the military for 20 years and was on the ground in both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During my time in (which is I'm sure something you have never experienced) I served as a range safety officer. I am not sure what military you're referring to, but its not the U. S. military, and never happened at ANY U. S. military range I ever shot at or worked on as a safety officer.
