This clip shows Pia's Palace in Paga, in the Upper East Region of Ghana. It is part of a community-based eco-tourism project for the town, and while the town's two crocodile ponds tend to steal the show, it's really worth spending a full day in Paga to see sites such as Pia's Palace, and the Al Hassan village & old Pikworo slave encampment, which have made Paga somewhat popular amongst tourists from around the World.
The video shows my guided tour, where I got to see the old huts of the palace. It is still a living quarters today, and I was shown things like how to use the traditional cooking implements and also inside the huts.
Please check my other clips if you are interested in Paga, as we have posted several on You Tube !
Hey, this is getting close to being the extent of our videos for the moment, but I am back in Ghana in just under three weeks, so expect to see more......
I will try to upload what I can while I'm there, and now that I know that people are watching them on You Tube, I'll do an even better job of filming !
