@ThisSongsShit When you do these "exhibition laps" right before a race of a televised major race series (i.e. the IndyCar race), the organizers make you agree not to pass the pace vehicle, nor the other vehicles. They don't want any crashes delaying their TV & race schedule for the day. I would have loved to have been permitted to pass the other vehicles, and I appreciate your “need for speed”….
