  • absolutely wonderful, when I close my eyes it reminds me of Josef Hassid's sound. I saw your name under Ann Fontanella's channel and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised as your performances are amazing, especially for a live recording!!! Its unbelievable... I wish I could've been in the audience at the Tchaik. Int. Competition when you won gold medal... what an incredible experience it must've been for the audience!

  • I have a middle school friend who can play this on the violin. Skills.

  • I do not like this sound at all. I think usually, foolishly sensitive. lacks elegance, class and good taste!!

  • Such a beautiful sound. I'm doing this song for Solo & Ensemble. I've never taken private lessons and I've only been playing for 5 years from what I've learned in school. My orchestra director said that I can do this song and I've listened to this about 50 times within the hour and you have given me the inspiration for me to play a song that is out of my level. Thanks :)

  • Beautiful rendition!

    Is that the "Stretton" Guarneri???

I would love to see a close-up. Certainly a perfect match between musician and his instrument.

  • beautiful! thanks for posting!

  • Very good!

  • simplement parfait

  • how can u get your violin to sound like its in weeping agony just like that??? ive been trying for yrs i still can't get it. Is it in the bowing or the vibrato or both? this is really beautiful. They say, if you can't make you audience's hair stand up when you're playing the violin, you're not playing it right. This one definitely gave me goose bumps...so good!!

  • @LurellePiano I can't tell if that was sarcasm or not. If it was, it's probably not quite as good...?

  • Lovely! Thank you for posting this! - Really enjoyed your Mendelssohn concerto in Edmonton last month - just beautiful.
