This video describes a great technique for gaining access to your concealed firearm to protect yourself when you are in a position of disadvantage.

  • Great videos.

Do you step to the side on purpose at the time of the draw?

  • Absolutely. Once the bad guy sees you are bluffing or you engage, he will probably shoot towards where you are, be somewhere else. Step away from the direction you distract. Point left, step right.

  • Excellent video. I am interested in purchasing a 45 cal revolver for conceal/carry. Do you have any recommendations?

    Thank You

I have a conceal personal protection permit

  • A .45 is a hard gun to really carry concealed, mainly due to the size. However, I do believe the most concealable .45 is a 1911. A Kimber, Springfield or the like will work in a Commander Size or Officer size. I carry a full frame 1911. However, you will spend a lot and you really, and I stress really need to practice flipping the safety off. If not you will forget under stress. Also, look at the S&W M&P .45 or the new Glock 21 SF or 30 SF (short frame) a XD 45 is nice too.

  • We will consider shooting a video on that in the near future. We are slowly adding what we can.

  • Yea....and I'll bet if you did defend yourself with deadly force, the thug ZOG NWO cops would be more than glad to follow odres and send you away. I'm leery of the gang bangers out there but I'm worried more of the nazi cops.

  • Well, I don't know what to say about that. You see, the guy in the video, well, he is a 20 year veteran cop and trainer. But, we appreciate your comments.

  • great video, since your where a cop i have a question, if my state does not allow ccw why would i not carry? wouldn't common sense say that your life is more important than some stupid law? lets see, if i have no gun i might be dead, if i do have a gun i wont be dead but might go to jail. i think i would rather jail. please tell me if i'm making sense or if not where am i wrong? thanks

  • Some good advice. That being said, if someone has the drop on me and there is a pistol in my face I'm most likely not going to try any kind of hero action. Like you said he already has a gun in your face. If someone wants to go fist to fist with me that's fine but your life is worth far more than your ego or pride. Sure, whatever, take my wallet. One phone call to the bank and those credit cards won't work. And that's why we don't carry large amounts of cash in this day and age.

  • BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG !?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • @WINDHAMMAN - why are you so scared of bears? use a broomstick... they'll quickly run away.

  • Great video! I just moved from panama city florida to California I'm going to check with the local law on the use of deadly force for personal defence, thanks bunch!

  • Great video, keep them comming sir

  • @vulpixgrant I'm thinking that shooting someone in the back is straight up murder. A fair fight is one thing but it doesn't always happen that way. Bad things happen to good people. That's the simple reality. You're wallet and a little bit of cash is not worth dying for. The situation will dictate your actions. If you have the chance at the start of the conflict to draw on him then do it, otherwise, give it up and live another day.

  • @thegtmable1

That's the smartest thing I've read in a while from the Comments on these types of videos. He's saying if you can get your hand on your weapon without them noticing, and you can make them look over their shoulder, then you can attempt this. But if the person looks at your arm moving down or they are straight staring you down their way to focused to try and defend yourself. What I would want to know is, you give them your wallet and they turn around to leave can you open fire?

  • dont make eye contact, distract and move. Good advice, thanks man! I hope I never need it though.

  • good video. bad guys need to be afraid of law abiding citizens. people need to know how to react in these situation. great info. and i like the insight...

  • Great information and accurate teaching. Thumbs up on the combat mindset you also touched on. Keep up the good work.

  • great. I agree, even though you might go to jail, or you might get killed, if you aren't in the survival mindset, you will surely die. Survival in the present is what matters most.
