EFFECT #1
Drift + Convergence

1. Duplicate both words.
2. Add "Convergence" Effect to one and "Drift" Effect to another.
3. Open the drawer and adjust their timings to your convenience.
4. Place text above the other.

EFFECT #2
Sparkle

1. Group both words.
2. Add "Sparkle" Effect.
3. Choose color and timing.

EFFECT #3
Burn

1. Insert a dark-colored slide above the one you're applying the effect to, and write your text in the slide below.
2. Add the "Burn" Effect at the "Slide Inspector" (Not the "Build Inspector") to the dark-colored slide on the top.

EFFECT #4
Move In

1. Duplicate your text horizontally as many times as you wish, depending on the duration of the effect that you want to achieve.
2. Group that "strip".
3. Duplicate each one of those strips below the original until the screen is filled entirely.
4. Separate some of them to the left of the slide and apply the "Move In" Effect ≥ Right to Left.
5. Apply the "Move In" Effect ≥ Left to Right to the ones on your right.
6. Randomly change the timing of each strip by a second or two of difference.
7. Place both groups of strips out of the slide, so they don't appear before starting the show.

EFFECT #5
Dissolve + Move Out

1. Select your text and apply the "Dissolve" Effect in the "Build In" pull-down menu.
2. Apply the "Move Out" Effect in the "Build Out" pull-down menu.
3. Open the drawer and adjust the timing to your preference.

Note: Adding some more seconds to the words at the bottom will make them end up all together at the top, as the video presents in the last Effect.

i have a question what version of keynote do you use? because i cant find the burn effect in my keynote 09 version. i hope you can help me out....

@JarodCrown The last version of Keynote does not come with that effect, it was the old version that had it, however, when I open an old presentation that has the Burn Effect, it appears in Keynote automatically.

Burn tool is still in Keynote! Keynote > Preferences > Include obsolete animations in choices. Enjoy.
