fishing 2008

some of my fishing captures of 2008.

this year was by far my best year. only 150+ days on the water, but i caught 46 species of fish. i broke a pb (or caught my first fish of that species) 21 times.

favorite captures of the year,

MY FIRST MUSKIE (52" long and 38 lbs)
my near state record bowfin
my 17 lb pike
my numerous 2 lb crappies (over 20 this year) (i only caught 2 over 2 lbs before both in 2007)
my pb walleye at 10lbs 4 oz
my pb carp on the fly at 22lbs 6oz
my pb all tackle carp at 24lbs 1oz
i won the big fish award on berkleybigfish.com

and i caught my pb bass at 6lb 1oz ON THE FLY TOO!

and i caught my second ever small mouth on july 4th and broke that PB 6 times over the summer!


hopefully 2009 will be even better!
