Virtua Racing Deluxe, or V.R.DX in short form, was released on Sega 32X in late 1994. In this movie, it's showed a Stock class car, running on Acropolis circuit. This is one of the best console ports of the original arcade, just like Virtua Racing for Mega Drive/Genesis. Despite not being a commercial success like the MD/Genesis port, due to the poor sales of 32X, this game adds two types of cars (Prototype and Stock) and three completely new circuits, which makes the game one of the best arcade conversions.

  • Ahah, I remember that when I was a child I once tried this game at my cousin's home and still can hear him yelling "don't press too much on the buttons or you'll break them" ahah :D Back then I was sure it was the best that technology could achieve.

  • collision suxx

  • @laff100 yeah some first gen games from 3rd party companies.

  • @theelostriots9999 I know, the Super FX chip.

  • @PrrrromotionGiven Starfox carts had an additional processing chip in them. However, for reasonable 3D check out Kawasaki Superbikes on the Megadrive. Runs really smoothly.

  • Close you're eyes, and you might mistake the game you're listening to for Mario Kart 64!

  • @sonic4sale it kind was. this game was no more than a tech demo but sega loved it so much they released it.

  • I like rear view point.

  • I wanna flyyyy, SKY HIIIIGH!
