Amen to leave the classics alone assholes.
-
HEY ZARANYZERAK, call me an asshole but there are two crucial shows missing in Cop Section [The Wire and the Shield]. The Twin Peaks DVD set is beautiful as usual, but are you interested in getting or renting the original season sets for the different extras?

hey, i'm really a big fan of classics including citizen kane one of the greatest films of of all TIME !!!! but i loved Twin Peaks because i'm very interest in this how much was it ?
-
Is Treasure of the Sierra Madre an adventure film ? Because sometimes, it is brought up as an adventure film ?
-
Do you own the Lost In Space dvd collection ??

I had to watch Citizen Kane for a Film Studies class back in college, and I'm probably in the minority on this, and will probably be flamed, but I hated that movie (I'm serious, and it wasn't just me, a lot of people in the class came out and said they hated it) my problem with it is that it's just boreing, I felt more like I was watching Orson Wells play the role of Orson Wells, and not Orson Wells playing Charles Foster Kane
-
@Zaranyzerak i think that was it, thanks man

CITIZEN KANE IS THE BEST

@xplayfan21 Watch the U.S. cut then the series. You can safely watch the ending of the International version (roughly the last 20 minutes) after the third regular episode of the series. Elements of the International Cut's ending were worked into the series as a dream sequence, basically. So you see clips of that in one episode, but the full sequence is at the end of the International Cut as the tacked-on ending so it could be shown theatrically overseas as a standalone movie. Enjoy the ride!

@Zaranyzerak i just got the twin peaks gold box i have never seen the show so how do i watch the pilot us cut international cut or both thanks

@agentwolfman1 Yes, the original series was in the 60's. 1963-64, 49 episodes. The remake series was in the 90's. It ran for 7 seasons for a total of 154 episodes, from 1995-2001. This is the series I have the first season set of. I gather you were unaware there was a newer version?
-
@agentwolfman1 theouter limits was in the 50's and 60's
-
@agentwolfman1 I have the first season of the 90's show, but that's it so far.
-
do you have the outer limits tv show?
-
Narc is a great underrated movie
-
what about 'bullit'?
-
hey z which david lynch film is your favourite inland empire, elephant man, or mulholliod drive?
-
@beastwarsman1 Hehehe...welcome to the pain of awesome shows killed far too early! Yeah, sucks on both counts. But at least we got short, quality gems instead of having them dragged on forever and losing their appeal. Still...would have been nice to have at least another season or two of 'em... I LOVED the directions both were going when they were canned. :(

which is the episode where andy and jimmy are questioning a guy wearing a tanktop, the guys says "you can either kiss me or lick my feet" and andy replies
"well all i can do is cut off your dick and stick it in your underwear" or something like that, it was around 2000/2001 I could be wrong, but i really thought it was funny!
please does anybody know?

Consider yourself lucky. In Australia, the DVD of Lost Highway is out of print.
-
@beastwarsman1 Well, all I can tell you is *I* like 'em both. Hope you do too!
-
@phxsns1 Make sure you work Twin Peaks in there too, that was my intro to Lynch. Brilliant show. Just make sure you watch the entire SHOW before the movie, "Fire Walk With Me," as the movie blows some of the surprises. Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive are amazing. The first being my introduction to Dennis Hopper, he is scary as hell in that.
-
@Zaranyzerak Cool. I'm just now starting to get interested in David Lynch's movies. Weirdly enough, I saw Eraserhead and The Elephant Man awhile back, and had no idea they were both directed by the same guy. I hope to see Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive soon.
Sean, i had a flashback of a cartoon where historical figures went to school together as teenagers, but i cant remember what i was, can you fill me in? it was a great series
