Hear how Whispbar http://www.whispbar.com/ performs against Thule and Yakima roof racks in a wind tunnel.
Spoiler alert Whispbar is the worlds quietest roof rack and most fuel efficient with 70% less wind drag than other roof racks.
Whispbar racks come with locks, a universal t-slot loading system and portability boosting Smartfoot technology. Cycle, canoe, kayak, ski, snowboard and fishing accessories available.
This video is stupid. I have square Thule bars and who gives a fuck about 1 more decibal of noise?? Really?? Wind tunnel tests for this?? Shouldnt we be trying to cure AIDS??? It's 20 degrees outside here, so guess what, my windows are up anyway.

Noise levels being what they are, It all comes down to money.
If you can buy a used Thule set for a fraction of what a Whispbar costs, you can buy a louder stereo and the whole OZZY box set - which only an asshole would listen to at low volume.
I don't plan on being Mario Andretti when I have stuff on my roof anyway.
Plus, I'd buy a fairing - they look fine to me.
I can even advertise a website across it instead of THULE.
I could MAKE money off my Thule!!!

Of course a roof box is going to make noise, but having quiet bars is huge. My current round bars make a ton of noise when I just run with bike trays, so I end up taking them off when I'm not using them. You can leave the whispbars on all the time if you want and you don't have to get one of those hideous fairings.

Imagine how today's popular baskets would fare in a wind tunnel and noise test, even with the wind-ferring add on. I invented a cargo carrying system that is aerodynamic to begin with. It's simplicity, strength and versatility are what people are looking for in a roof rack system. Check out the REV RACK on Youtube.

Yeah, quiet until you need to carry something, and uhh..... last I checked, that's why I need a roof rack.
I don't need quiet, I need trustworthy. Sorry ProRack

If that bar doesn't fit my Q towers,, I won't waste my money on it.

Can you please post a sensible test on this product - i.e. one with a roofbox loaded. I suspect the effect of the roofbars on noise, fuel economy and appearance will be indistinguishable once you're carrying a load, unless you want empty roofrails as a fashion statement. Very simplistic marketing for a company with apparent credentials in aerodynamics and design.
