it would be so much more usefull if you didnt need the net for it.. i.e. if your out somewhere and lost go on google earth and search for location.. maybe using the 3g net. and then search for directions e.t.c. it would make it so much more useul as you have maps which is google earth just a different layout. and maybe your on a walk and search for a place to walk to .e.t.c. i think you get the idea. i dont wouldnt care if it was a big file sized app or i even had to pay £2.00 for it UPDATE!!

hi, as far as I know the ipod Touch does not have a GPS System. So it won't be possible on the ipod Touch to get your current location, correct?
