Can I say what happen to backworth station which was not in video from west Monkseaton to benton the station was still open to public untill 1977 -78 when it was closed to make way for tyneside metro just up from the old station is new station called northumbland park station aport from that it was a good video

how wonderful to see such contrasts.
btw, there is at least one image of the 3rd rail electric trains on Wikipedia which you could use, and my film of Tynemouth station will include a photo from the 3rd rail days. The film will be named "Tyne & Wear Transport Miscellany 2" parts 1, 3-6 are online already. btw, all footage dates from the early 1990's.
