Adobe Edge is for html5 etc, they just need to make it possible for Flash to export html5 or something similar that doesn't require a pluggin!

@gryphondwb Let me rephrase that, since you read it wrong.
"They promote web standards AND Flash, while Apple only promotes web standards and rejects Flash."
Like Vic Gundotra said, "Being open also means to be inclusive, rather than exclusive."
I actually replied to him to know why he was surprised to see Adobe embrace web standards. It would be stupid of them to not do that and only promote Flash.

@avelx I hope you didn't purchase CS5 for this feature. Many people assumed what was being show was a CS5 demo. It wasn't. It was a "future of Dreamweaver" demo. This feature may or may not make it into future Dreamweavers. For instance, Adobe's published 2.0 spec for that FXG interchange format does not support animation. So, its not clear how it would do so right now. Flash users must use Adobe tools. There is currently NOTHING else that reads FLA files.

@Welocy Apple produces Webkit, which is used by many people, including Google Chrome and the new Blackberry browser. Apple also saves its project files from various apps like Garageband, Pages, Numbers, etc. in XML packages, so anyone can read them. Apple's entire website is done using HTML 5 and web standards. Apple's Keynote presentation system exports Flash too (along with HTML and Quicktime). Apple's practices are MORE open than Adobe. The ONLY OPEN thing Adobe does is SWF. That's it.

@anotherelvis Why wouldn't they? They promote web standards (ofc) and flash, which many do (except Apple).

@avelx So agree mate Macromedia make the "revolution" of this WYSIWYG Web editor, but Adobe has been very lazy they still thinks that this is some PS Web shit :/ whith a lot of useless new features.
Thanks for share the video Anyways.
This looks very neat. I am happy to see Adobe embrace html5.
