Theme from 'The Deer Hunter' (TVS3)

Cavatina, originally written for piano by Stanley Myers, was rewritten for classical guitar and recorded by John Williams. It is most famous as the theme from the 1978 film 'The Deer Hunter'. Following release of the film, John Williams version became a UK top 20 hit. The Shadows version was released in 1979 and reached number 9 in the UK singles chart.
