and then my computer will close it all again like it does everytime(actually sometimes vdub is fine and other times it closes w/all the other stuff)
i think ill juss try it out to see if my parents' desktop works w/o problems since i still have almost all my editin software on it
-
simple get the dvd...switch vobs to lossless...then render lossless...then just put it as xvid or divx thuough v dub at the highest quality.......quality will turn out pretty decent for boobtube... enough tech talk well i think this beats my vid
-
Hmm. I could probably help ya out there.

Well, all my videos that are uploaded right are just plain .avi with a DivX codec, but I have scripted before, and it worked.
-
your one of the lucky ones though
and my Zarx always causes me problems when tryin to script
during the encoding it'll close and I've been attempting to figure out my problem for months
about 2people told me its cuz I have vista and I'm sure they're right because I've never had these problems before on my last comp which was xp while on my laptop I can't use a lot of programs since they go up to xp
I'll probably have to end up scripting by using 2computers and a disc to save it on

and do you all ways get HQ results when you upload im just saying even the best looking mp4 can end up looking terrible on this site so its not allways the best idea to make a crisp mp4 or DivX encode if its only going to be uploaded on to yt
-
Works perfectly fine for me. =/
-
but after all the scripting and the long ass wait of encoding youtube will still ruin the quality.

Well, xvid is a mere compression codec to begin with, and yes some codecs do conflict with the compressor on this site. Indeo codecs for i.e. do not work, and since XviD is a compressed codec the compressor tries to compress it even further, therefore, causing disruptions with the data in your file. End result the video is not processed. Your best bet is to either compress it with DivX and get half ass quality. Or you can script it for HQ, and then get a small .mp4 which this site recommends.
-
I also dig this*favs*
You probably can't upload it in .avi sometimes, because of a video codec you may be using. As for .mp4 it is not bad if you just use VirtualDubMod, Avisynth, and Zarx.
