Flight of the Pelican is a video and web site project that is primarily designed as an educational resource at the secondary level. It has been funded by Keewatin Career Development Corporation (KCDC), a not for profit organization headquartered in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Canada. The video and web site were created by KCDC Media, a division of Keewatin Career Development Corporation.

KCDC provides the video for free educational use by any group or individual. Our aim is to promote awareness of science, the outdoors, and social interconnectedness among students and individuals; primarily in northern Saskatchewan, but also anywhere there is interest.

We launched the video at Churchill community school in La Ronge on March 31. It was very well received by students and teachers. We also had a focus group of students and teachers who talked about projects that classes could do using the video as a resource. We will post the video shortly
