  • Yes, the trailer is not as good as the movie, but the movie is really good.

This is the sort of stuff the Sci-Fi channel should be showing.

  • This is a dreadful trailer that does absolutely nothing to convey the incredible eeriness and suspense of a true horror/sci-fi classic.

  • @fattwat1 Quatermass and the Pit was the third in the series of Quatermass films...I'm guessing that the name Quatermass was totally unfamiiar to American audiences in 1968 since they hadn't seen the BBC tv programmes, so the producers decided to rename it entirely.

  • Confesso a ignorancia, nunca entendi o que este filme queria dizer.

  • OBSOLETE

  • Did anyone else catch the parallels to the Illuminati/NWO that is our current reality?

  • GREAT BRITISH SCI FI BUT WHY THE CHANGE IN NAME

WHY WAS QUARTERMASS AND THE PIT NOT GOOD ENOUGH

    FOR THE AMERICANS

  • Wow, it's been 20 years I've been trying to remember this movie from childhood, and here it is...:O

  • @Donkwoon Well, I searched for that title on Youtube and found the original 1950's version...the whole movie, which apparently was serialized. I sat through all of it at once, and it was great; after a few minutes, I stopped noticing the 1950s anachronisms and just got sucked up into the story. Very low tech, but very effective., although the 'science' was cutting edge for the times - the Star Trek of it's generation? Thanks for the heads-up!

  • @AbsentWithoutLeaving Try looking for it in it's English title "Quartermas and The Pit". Good luck.

  • @Donkwoon It's not just the kids...we all are. I remember being totally fascinated by this movie when I saw it on TV years after its release. Looking for a copy now, but can't seem to find one in Region 1. I was hoping someone would have posted the whole thing on here. Oh, well. On, on!

  • The Devil is a five million year old grasshopper from Mars.
