The Buckeye Super Sprint 305 Winged Sprint Car series based out of Sandusky, Ohio takes to the track for the first feature of the 2009 season @ Columbus Motor Speedway on 4/18/09. This video was taken from the front bumper of the Defending 2008 Buckeye Super Sprint Champion Zach Gibson. Starting off the new year with a 2nd place finish it seems he is off to another outstanding year, hoping to rival his 5 win season a year ago. Great win at Columbus last night ! Congrats! My older brother saw your grandfather race when I was just a kid and told me stories about it. If he was anything like you are doing, winning must run in the family. By the way I was in grandstand to the right of the start/finish line and was sitting behind a lady that I am guessing might be your mom. I saw you come up into the grandstand and sit and talk with her in between races. I am guessing she might be some family.
