For me there is this very specific type of childhood anime, yung family-oriented, minimal or no slapstick/comic-like things (can you imagine Cedie with a sweatdrop?). magandang example ito pati sina Sarah, Nelo, Remi, Heidi, Little Women 2, most are from Nippon Animation or TMS, majority lost at least one parent. i call them "checks" and you can say its bcoz "like" q cla. Anyways anime in general is very entertaining
