THIS GHAZAL IS IN 2 PARTS AS IT IS 30 MINUTES LONG, I HAVE POSTED SOME VERY BEAUTIFUL GHAZALS OF USTAD RAIS KHAN SOME OF WHICH WERE PERFORMED AT OUR HOME IN 1978 WHEN HE VISITED KARACHI FROM BOMBAY. IF YOU LIKE GHAZALS THEN YOU WILL REALLY ENJOY THESE PRIVATE MEHFIL OF RARE GHAZALS. I NOW RESIDE IN THE U.S. I HAVE POSTED SOME OF LATE FATHER'S COLLECTION. WE WERE GREAT FANS OF USTAD RAIS KHAN AND ATTENDED ALMOST EVERY GHAZAL MEHFIL OF THE GREAT MAESTRO OF SITAR AND GHAZALS. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO FORWARD THESE SONGS TO ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS WHO HAVE SIMILAR SHAUKH (TASTE) AND SPREAD THE WORD OF THESE SONGS. I HAVE ALMOST 20 TO 30 HOURS OF HIS GHAZAL COLLECTION WHICH I WILL BE POSTING AS TIME PERMITS ALONG WITH THE COLLECTION OF PRIVATE PERFORMANCES OF BEGUM AKHTAR, JAGJEET SINGH, MEHDI HASSAN, VITTAL RAO AND QAWWALIS OF AZIZ AHMED WARSI.

my most favourite sitarist by a great distance, his ghazal style is highly flowing and it also features in gayaki of his sitar.

first accept my sincere thanks for uploading ustad rais khan"s gazals i am a die-hard fan of khan saheb i have some very sweet memories of my childhood with rais khan saheb when he was in Bombay of 80"s i still imagine khan saheb holding a dunhill cigarette in his right hand and chewing a sada calcutta pan , i am feel proud that these moments nobody can take away from me,if u have more videos of khan saheb please share with me i will be always greatful to you.
