This is a video of my first use of the skeeter beeter hammock. It got down to 40f during the night and with a jacket on and a wool blanket spread out on the bottom i didn't get cold at all. All in all it was a comfortable night.

  • Bear Burrito! Hahahaa! I love mine. I have a Warbonnet Blackbird. Mine is A sym, though, so I lay real flat. No doubt, a hammock will steal most folks away from tents. Hard to beat a good hammock. Small, lite weight, and sooo comfortable = ) Enjoy that bad boy. And next time, lets see what ya got cookin'. Nice camp. ~Wolf

  • @FatDaddy4Fun BEAR BURRITO LOL!! Love it! I gotta agree that a hammock is way more comfy than a tent and it sure beats carrying the extra weight.

  • what is the weight limit and cost of this hammock

  • @CODYBROOKFARM It sells for around 40 to 50 dollars and the advertised max weight limit is 250lb.

  • You said it is really comfortable and that you like using it; can you describe what it's like to sleep in this for a full night? Any back aches, stiff neck? Did you sleep through the whole night?

  • @jaimenote I had no aches and pains except for my usual lol. My lower back often bothers me but i don't think this made it any worse and my neck felt fine. The hammock didn't make any bad pressure points over the night and with the sound of the crickets it wasn't hard at all for me to stay asleep! :D

  • @ReeperzOutdoors Thanks!

  • Nice hammock buddy.

  • @gasdorf Im pretty sure it would but the pad may shift during the night if you move alot. A good sleeping bag that you can zip yourself up in would keep you really warm and with a compression sack they can pack fairly small. Thanks for watching!

  • @mrmattvan would a sleeping pad work in a hammock in cold weather?
