Installing Hex mesh over some custom cut vents on the non-window side panel.

  • I'm kinda confused as to why you don't just, glue the magnets to the top of the black mesh. Then the magnets / bar / speaker mesh on top.

    Then the magnets would hold it to the side panel. So there would be no glue on the side panel / it can be removed.

    I'm sure you have a reason tho :) gj !

  • @tombmxcrowley Well I want to give the client the option to use the speaker cloth or not. So the Hex Mesh needs to be stand alone and needs to look clean. Once the glue dries thoroughly it is almost invisible. I am still thinking about ways to stretch and mount the speaker cloth in a nice way. I may sew channels on each edge and slip the aluminum bars into the cloth. I will probably countersink the magnets into the aluminum bar so it's flat. More on that later,
