I also thought in addition to swahili, a part of the song is a made up language made to sound like swahili, but not the entire song.

This song is awesome. I just sang it w/ my BHS high school choir at the first ever edition of video games live boston at the wang theatre, it was by far the most special song for me (plus the original soloist from the recording on the game sang the solo!)
