Asthma is a tendency of the airway to constrict with abnormal intensity, and exposure to cigarette smoke or second-hand smoke can increase the severity of asthma symptoms. Find out why it's so important for people with asthma to limit their exposure to smoke with help from a pulmonary disease research expert in this free video on the effects of smoking.
asthma is not caused by smoking!!!!! but smoking makes asthma attack worse!!! Smoking causes COPD instead!!

If he was that clued up about airways he wouldn't be carrying so much weight. And asthma rates have steadily increased while smoking rates have decreased. Smoking has never been indicted as a cause of asthma. Smoke is anti-bacterial (all smoke, not just tobacco) and in no way contributes to the onset of asthma.
