Support Mega Man X for MvC3! (ORIGINAL)

UPDATE Nov 13, 2011: Well folks, we got him!...Or DID we? Uh... sorta. X is apparently NOW a downloadable "costume" for Zero, rather than a separate character altogether. Not exactly what I was fighting for, but... oh well. T^T

Original Description (Please read)

Mega Man X, winning the TOP SPOT in an unofficial poll for "most desired DLC" AS WELL AS being considered for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3... is NOT included as a character in UMvC3, to the disappointment of many fans.

So here is a little song I wrote, not only just for fun (and NO PROFIT INTENDED), but to show some support for my favorite Mega Man series, MEGA MAN X! Whether he'd be as a downloadable character, or in Mega Man X9, the cries of X fans around the world for the return of the blue-armored hero must be HEARD!

I invite anyone to make their own song (with music or none, ANY STYLE), skit, or dance, whatever it is, to support X to come back in one game or the other! I'll even allow anyone to do a remix of this song too... It doesn't matter what quality it's in. (Remember, have NO intention of making any monetary profits from this song, so I don't expect anyone else to.)

I really do wish X was a playable character in MvC. But apparently, he's only going to be a DLC skin for Zero. That's it. And people are telling me to be grateful. That's nothing to be grateful if they're only adding him as a skin and not as an actual character. To me, that's a slap in the face! If you ask me, this shows me just how indifferent Capcom has become in the last few years.

I like the video and the song, but X as a character wouldn't be the type to start battling random people just for the heck of it. He might fight when his back is pressed against the wall, but he doesn't have the same eagerness to get into the mix as the other characters in the series.

Also, while there are plenty of Mega Man X fans who would love for this to happen, there are far more fans other series they can bring in, If we get a Mega Man, great, but don't hold your breath.

@Nangbaby That is a VERY good point... I can totally see why X may not be first choice in a fighting game because of his aversion to violence in the first place, as we X fans all know. :3 Still, it would be nice... we'll have to see, but you're right... there's no reason to HAVE to get blue in the face for one character to be in a game. ^^' It's good to be realistic too.

Mega Man X is all UMVC3 needs. And yes by that I mean Mega Man X not the other Mega Boys. The only man here is X!

@Sanders1521 I looked it up on the Mega Man Wiki and apparently he did seal himself, but the cutscene took place an unspecified amount of time after the Mega Man X series, meaning it was set after X8.

@Sh4d0wKat X6 if you beat the game with zero yes he goes to sleep but if you find zero and you beat the game with X it will show zero not going to sleep but staying to help X then which made X7

@WebSlingerZX Are you being sarcastic? It sounds like you are, but you can't be sure with type. Okami only got one character, and Waka would have been a cool addition, as would Bayonetta.

@Sanders1521 I don't get X6's continuity with X7 and X8. Zero sealed himself away in X6, so did he wake up for X7 and then reseal himself after X8 or something?

@SasuSeoLuva Not to mention all the potential that was thrown away due to Capcom's disloyalty to their fans who have PLEADED for X to be in a fighting game for years! We've waited for more than a decade for MvC3, and so far, it looks as if though Capcom hasn't learned anything after all this time. All I can say is that I'm extremely upset.

X and Volnutt are the only plausable MM's that could be in the game and still be acurate to their original design, Classic MM in MVC 1 and 2 had a shoryuken move, a weird hulk style kick as a launcher and a Shinkuu Hadoken giant robot, none of which classic every actually used. X and Volnutt at least have more moves available but wuth X already available now as an alternate look for Zero then I doubt he'll get much of a chance of being added now.
