«blind questions» begins as a film that uncovers a mysterious encounter which takes place in a highly confined space. Film and analytical variations ‚entwine' four performers into a new arrangement in the entanglement of coding, decoding and real time. In «blind questions», Cologne-based choreographer and media artist, Stephanie Thiersch, and her international ensemble, comprising dancers, actors and singers, have come up with a production built around misunderstandings that mix live performance with film projections and reflects the emotional and ironically broken complexity of our reality.Funded by Kunststiftung NRW, Kulturamt der Stadt Köln, Ministerpräsident des Landes Nordrhein-Westphalen, Fonds Darstellende Künste e.V., RheinEnergieStiftung Kultur, and SK-Stiftung Kultur.
