I'm just discovering Alice Smith and love the newness of her voice + performance. Thankfully, she's clearly not trying to be Beyonce, Rihanna, etc. If people always want that candy wrapping/filler, what's to become of someone as simply talented as Alice who doesn't need all the bullshit? She gives an amazing vocal, her phrasing is FIYAH (if you don't know what phrasing is, look it up), and trust, she's from Brooklyn - she can walk/dance/fuck in heels or not. Get a life, stop the stereotyping!

@k956 It's because she wears high heels, I think, as I noticed in the New Religion video. They always distort a woman's natural shape and posture - horrible invention. You're right; she should take them off so she can sway natural and move like the woman her voice expresses. Lose the shoes, beautiful Alice!
