I'm 31 years old and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a bilateral mastectomy and just started chemotherapy. Luckily, I'm stage 1. I'm triple negative and BRCA positive. Here's my story so far. Unfortunately, this can happen to young women. Even if you don't have a family history, please take any lumps seriously and get them checked out right away. I was always healthy, and active. I was running 3 miles before all of this started. It can happen to anyone.

  • I'm a 23 year old, with a 20 month old son. I recently (like 2 days ago) for a lump on top of my left breast. It's painful to the touch, and tingling, and I also noticed a small pinkish rash next to where I feel the pain. The lump is hard, but not as hard as a BB, also, I don't believe it's circular in shape either...

I was wondering should I be concerned? Could it be breast cancer?

  • @QueenAceKing Hi, Have you gotten it checked out? It's probably nothing, but you should get it checked out. Even if it's just a cyst you'll feel better after having it removed.

    keep me posted.

  • Thank You so much for sharing your story! The doctors keep trying to tell me the famous line "Oh don't worry, you are so young!" I found a lump and they found a cyst but don't want to biopsy it. Family history of precancerous cells( tamoxifen) and Grandmother with BC. Whatever the outcome, because of you, I will stay positive!

  • @OurLadyLourdes I hope you ended up getting a biopsy and I hope everything turned out fine. Let me know.

  • Thanks for being positive, you helped me so much! now it's less scary (i'm ' on' next monday).

    Keep it up!

  • @pieuw09 how's it going? hope things are going well for you.
