Song of the Lakes is an awesome band. They put on an amazing performance every time. I have seen them in concert since i was very young and am now happy to say that I am friends with the band. If anyone wants to see them play they are usually up in the Traverse City Michigan area and play pretty regularly. Was happy to be able to find them on here. :)

Mike Sullivan wrote this song in the mid 1980's The Group os Song of the Lakes. They have 4 CD's and one DVD. The DVD includes a documentary on the band and their 25th Aniversery concert. Benzie is a county in Northern Michigan on the Great Lakes. You can go to their website to learn more. All 4 members live in or near Traverse City, Mich.
