1. "On day one" no one was doing anything, bitch, including you, because no one knew what was about to happen. Oil rigs had suffered explosions before, and on "day one" it was still there, burning.

2. Where was Bush "on day one" of Katrina etc. etc. Anyone who does not loudly condemn Bush gets to say nothing about Obama. Ever.

3. In national emergencies everyone becomes a big government liberal.

@NorthForkFisherman I agree that we should stand up for those who have served in the military. She's just trying to balance the budget and cut spending everywhere, including the military. I don't agree with her there, but she's better than any damn liberal. However, she wasn't talking about the military, or even veterans, in the video. She was talking about government getting involved in the oil spill.

The people who have given their all and suffered greatly for this nation are being cast aside at the time of their greatest need. Yeah. She's right, the government needed to get involved in the oil spill right away. What would have happened if first responders weren't allowed to go in after 9/11? Nothing good, calling this woman an idiot for seeing when the national government needed to intervene when they weren't is foolishness.
