By the UN charter, it was an illegal war of aggression. By international law, the invasion was illegal.
Congress voted for 'the use of force' after seeing the cooked WMD evidence supplied by the administration. However, congress did not declare war, as demanded by the constitution. So, even in US law the legitimacy of the invasion and subsequent occupation is questionable.
By definition, wars of aggression are illegal, so you can take those sneer quotes off.
Illegal war? Tell that to Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, John Edwards, John Kerry, etc...They all either supported the war or voted for it in 2003. So by your logic they are all war criminals for supporting an "illegal war."
How about supporting the troops by bringing them home from an illegal war turning into a permanent occupation and opportunity for more war with Iran?
I know standards have been dropping at Fox since it began, but "Conservatives"... I'm afraid however low a republican president would go they would still support him. More real journalists please, and less pundits for the estalishment. oh wait, that leads to "liberal bias". sheesh
