  • I have used the talking stick in workshops and it is great. It isamazing how we don't pay attention to others these days!

  • he's becoming so very famous, i pray he stays in touch with the source of his wisdom, and does not get puffed up with the praises of the world. what a brilliant man!

  • This sounds like a technique Covey learned from anger management classes.

  • "Fear" is afraid of everything because Fear can only see itself in everything, fear fails to account for many of the things that are really taking place in the form of circumstances. These "road blocks" will always present themselves, but they do not have to represent an end in the road. When you climb one hill or mountain, I promise their will always be a bigger hill or mountain waiting! How you attack each climb will define you. Equally, how you run away will also define you.

  • so much wisdom and great ideas coming from this great man

  • The eastern philosophies in his approach are powerful ideas.

  • Nonviolent communication is much more powerful as it adds a few more powerful steps... hard to stop judgments using this method and being heard isn't as effective using silent empathy only. Yet it is a start...

  • @ldsangel I think he will, he's principal centered : )

  • He's had more of an impact in my life than anything I can remember (outside of religion). Thanks Dr. Covey!

  • i love his voice for some reason
