jimmy page

i've written a new song called 'jimmy page' ...for which me and my friend renee have filmed a rock n roll ghost.
the song pays tribute to all the records that made life meaningful for me when i was young.
they STILL mean everything to me...
i love music from all the decades,but there was a period at the beginning of the 70's that really makes my heart go boom.
i don't try and imitate this music,cause i feel as an artist i have to find my own ways,
but i feel very strong emotional attachment to the records of led zeppelin...
t-rex...
bowie...
mott the hoople
creedence clearwater revival ...
sweet...
atomic rooster.....
ect ect ect...
and this song acknowledges how this music fired us all up ,and will still be around when you and i are dead and gone.

so for the video,my friend renee gave me a hand...
he's well cool with a camera and has a deep love for the same things as myself...
he's a stunning artist in his own right...and a close friend...

he found this haunted record shop...
a rather good one...
with great records in stock,
and we filmed the beautiful rock and roll ghost that inhabits the place.

the record shop is one of the most authentic rock vinyl shops in england...
i'd say it's now my favourite record shop ever....
it's called 'henrys' and is situated in the very pretty little town of burton on trent.

Great tune and vid!!!! I tried to send a video reply but didn't seem to work. It was a pic of your Les Paul's bastard uncle so to speak. My late 70's Harmony LP Copy. red but with black pickguard,knobs and pickup covers. Thanks for sharing this one, really liked it.
