Japanese Lots-o-Huggin bear commercial

vaguely remembered this toy from when I was living in Japan back in the day--got this off from one of my old VHS tapes I used to record off the TV with. Wanted to post it when I saw the other one going around.

The live actions parts look EXTREMELY authentic. They even got the fashions right. The one "anime-esque" picture however ruins it. It doesn't even look like it's from the same decade. The hair on the boy to the right is more late 90's than anything. Even then, the proportions are all wrong for what 80's SD characters looked like. They should have just left that picture out, if they couldn't do it right. Then this ad would have been perfect.
