@FighterGuDude3214 Oh, also, I found my comment since it was from so long ago-- I did specify that imperialism as we know it (being that countries use their militaries to gain resources and territory and global influence) is rather dead. I said it tends to happen through economics now, and that that was just my interpretation of what Rammstein was talking about in this song.

@FighterGuDude3214 Imperialism is more along the lines of a government policy, not necessarily a military one. If the American military burned down an Afghan village, it's... highly unlikely that such an act was sanctioned by their higher-ups. But I wouldn't know-- Did this actually happen? Like, is it on the news? I don't watch news much but my homepage is MSN, so I figured there would be something about it.
